Our response to covid-19

To my Bountiful Family,

Grace and Peace from our Lord Jesus Christ in this unprecedented times of crisis.  As the word of God speak about perilous times to come, we see the Bible prophecies being fulfilled in this time.  Humanity has gotten a wake up call.  No matter how powerful a person or country is, it’s during this time we can all turn to God and acknowledge that he is still in control.

For us we take comfort in his words: Isaiah 41 verse 10: Fear thou not; for I am with these, be not dismayed for I am thy God, I will strengthen thee, yea, I will uphold thee, yea I will uphold these with the right hand of my righteousness.

Not too long ago, Governor Coumo ordered a statewide lockdown to take effect Sunday  evening March 22, 2020.   I have had to make this decision to accommodate the governor’s policy as we work together to combat this pandemic facing us all.  We will be suspending our regular church services beginning this Sunday March 22,2020, and will work with the government mandate of assembly count next week, this we plan to  do on a rotating basis , as we go live streaming.

You will be updated on the changes as we face this challenge together.   It is a time for us to use wisdom just as Joseph and Mary obeyed the angel and took our Lord Jesus and fled to Egypt.  There  are times when we stand and fight , and times when we let God do the fighting.  We have seniors and children to protect , but will work even through these circumstances as the word declare in Matthew 18 v 20  where two or  three are gathered together in my name , there am I in the midst.

Remember to practice safety and follow the CDC guidelines, but most of all use the power of prayer, that’s  what we know, God did declare for us this year a year of prayer, and  a prayer line was established all working in accordance to his mandate.

Let’s us pray for each other , the nation, our leaders the world and ask the Lord to break this disease that is crippling us all.

May the Lord bless and keep you.

Your Pastor,

Desmond Williams
